The Conn-Selmer booth at NAMM was jam packed with top professionals who endorse and support many of Conn-Selmer’s legendary brands. Artist demonstrations occurred regularly throughout the show that included product performances, clinics, and autograph signings.
Conn-Selmer would like to congratulate Tom "Bones" Malone on his recent induction into the Mississippi Musician's Hall of Fame. Tom will join the list of 12 other individuals inducted in the Jazz Caption since its inception in 1995.

The Avanti Fund Music Education Scholarship was awarded to Candace Hamar, Kavin Ley and Steven Skolnik, who will each receive $2,000 towards their tuition costs to pursue their Bachelor degrees in Music Education. Also receiving $1,000 to become more competitive in their respective fields, are Avanti Fund Conn-Selmer Employee Scholarship winners Hayley Clay, Courtney Cromas, Laura Gentry and Jacob Vollmar.

Tim served as the company's Executive Director of Education since 1996. In addition to the acclaimed summer event, Conn-Selmer Institute, the Division of Education continues to support music educators via many outreach programs connecting directly with music educators around the world.
Conn-Selmer instruments are helping students on the small island of Loboc in the Phillipines make music in times of adversity. Students ranging from 3rd to 12th grade on this island nation have the opportunity to participate in the Loboc Youth Ambassador Band, a poverty-reduction project of the Loboc Youth Education Association. The program was developed by local music educator, Mr. Argeo Melisimo, and is conducted by another local conductor/arranger, Rene Balbin.
